Dr. Kim Everson, DVM - Veterinarian

Dr. Kim Everson returned to Country Hills Animal Health in June as a veterinarian, having been part of the clinic in various roles since 2001.

Everson graduated with highest honors from UW Oshkosh and went on to UW Eau Claire to complete a master's degree in English before moving to Fond du Lac with her husband in 2001.

Everson earned her veterinary medical degree from UW Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. There she was chosen by her classmates three years in a row to receive the Student Academic Leadership Award in recognition of her helpfulness and positive attitude.

Everson also served on several School of Veterinary Medicine curriculum committees and worked as a copy editor of the Dr. Leland Allenstein Dairy Teaching Herd newsletter.

Everson grew up on a small hog and hobby farm in Berlin. Memories of helping sows deliver their piglets motivated her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Still a fan of farm animals, Everson is devoting her practice to small animal pets and their owners.

She is returning to Country Hills to practice quality, progressive veterinary medicine.

Outside the clinic, Everson enjoys spending time with her husband and two small children, as well as their springer spaniel (GrrrD), labrador retriever (EdGrrr) and farm cat (Abe). Her hobbies include reading, gardening and restoring their old farmhouse.

Dr. Nadine Krahn, DVM - Veterinarian

Dr. Nadine Krahn graduated in 1991 from the UW- Madison School of Veterinary Medicine after previously receiving a bachelor's degree in Bacteriology. Most of my first years in small animal practice were spent in the Appleton area until I got married and moved to Fond du Lac. I have been a regular part of the Country Hills Animal Health team since 2000. It has always been important to me to work in an environment where I didn't feel I had to compromise my high standard of practice. I've truly found a home here at Country Hills Animal Health where they strive not only to meet AAHA standards, but to exceed them. I enjoy "spreading the good news" of veterinary medicine especially in talking to children of all ages.

I currently work part time at the clinic and spend the rest of my time raising my 2 small children with my husband, David, who is a dairy veterinarian. I enjoy reading, walking, flower gardening, and road trips both near and far. I also share my home with four pets, which until recently, numbered seven. I lost three elderly pets within a short period of time. The experience has given me a new perspective and understanding of the grieving process that our clients go through when they lose a beloved pet.
