Advanced Parasite Control
Parasitic Zoonoses are diseases primarily of animals that can be transmitted to people. The growing popularity of cats and dogs and the high rate of worm infections can result in widespread soil contamination from infected eggs and larvae. At Country Hills Animal Hospital we offer advanced parasite control to keep your pet and your family safe.
Progressive Dental Care
The number one health problem diagnosed in 8 out of 10 cats and dogs over 4 years of age is periodontal disease. We provide an extensive dental care program. Our clients have become aware of the importance to have their pet's teeth examined and cleaned on a regular basis. Preventive dental care can add 2-4 years to the life of a pet. Optimum dental care truly is a fountain of youth for your pet.
Your Hospitalized Pet
We know your pet will feel more at ease with you at home, but sometimes sick patients need services that only can be performed in the hospital. We strive to keep the length of hospital stays as brief as possible.
While in the hospital, your pet will be in our general hospital ward. If there is concern of contagious disease, he/she will stay in the isolation ward. Our wards are quiet and comfortable with soft linens. Cats are kept in comfortable condos and ambulatory dogs are walked at least several times a day. A veterinary technician is assigned to monitor the condition of each patient, water and food needs, and to provide caring attention.
Your pet's doctor will call you often to inform you of your pet's progress. Additionally, our veterinary technicians are available to answer any questions or concerns.
State of the Art
Country Hills is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to provide the best care for your pet.
Complete In-House Laboratory - Our complete in-house laboratory gives us point-of-care diagnostic abilities when we're treating sick or injured pets, and allows us to properly evaluate every surgical case prior to anesthesia.
Digital Ultrasound - Fully digital ultrasound allows high quality, non-invasive imaging of the abdomen and chest. Many diseases can be accurately diagnosed with ultrasound: pancreatitis, heart disease, kidney infections, and inflammatory bowel disease to name a few.
CO2 Surgical Laser - Our CO2 surgical laser offers several advantages over conventional surgery in many procedures: decreased tissue trauma, decreased postoperative swelling, decreased bleeding, decreased pain, and sterilization of the surgical field.
Digital X-ray - Our high frequency digital x-ray machine provides the highest quality radiographs, allowing our doctors to see fine detail and subtle changes.
Emergency Services
Please call us at once for any emergency. Care is always available for your pet. Our emergency number is our office number (920) 477-3003. Emergencies during hospital hours are given priority attention over routine procedures. In most cases, emergencies on Holidays will be referred to Fox Valley Referral Center at (920) 933-9193. |
