Our Philosophy
At Country Hills Animal Health, we are committed to providing comprehensive, quality care for each patient to enhance their well-being and quality of life. We achieve this by having compassionate, knowledgeable and professional staff, utilizing the latest technological advances, and implementing the foremost medical practices. It is our goal to educate and involve each client in a lifetime health care plan for their special companions.
Our staff will do their best to make you and your pet feel welcome and comfortable. We want our clients to feel that we are receptive and responsive to their needs and that we will spend the necessary time with them and their pet to listen, understand, and correct their problems. Some conditions will require an extensive amount of time and tests, while others will be brief with direct and immediate results. In any situation, we will endeavor to explain reasons for special tests, the possible outcome, and an estimate of the costs involved. If any questions arise, always feel comfortable to request more information.
We believe in offering you and your pet the best attention and care available, because we know that your pets are a special part of your family and they deserve to be treated with love, kindness, and respect.
AAHA Certified
Our clinic is American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) certified. We received our accreditation as a member of AAHA in the year 2000. We are one of the less than 18 percent of North American veterinary hospitals with this accreditation. AAHA accreditation means that we meet strict standards for excellence in over 400 areas of patient care, exam facilities, pharmacy, laboratory, anesthesiology, surgery, housekeeping, records management and continuing education.
In 2004 Country Hills Animal Hospital received an advanced certification with honors from the American Animal Hospital Association. This accreditation with honors places the quality care in the top percent of veterinary clinics in the nation. Country Hills Animal Health is very proud of our hospital and the care that is given!
Your Pet's Caregivers
We work hard to maintain an excellent staff of doctors, receptionists, and technicians. Our staff is a GREAT team, with the right mix of skills and backgrounds, and has been carefully chosen to provide the best care for your pet. All staff members participate in continuing education programs. Most have special interests or areas of expertise within the practice. All, of course have pets of their own.
Our veterinarians work very closely together, having ward rounds each day to discuss hospitalized cases. If your pet's doctor is not available, another highly qualified doctor will take the case, use your pet's detailed medical record to continue care, and then return the case to that doctor when he/she returns. Our doctors work extremely well together and switching between them when necessary will not be a problem. Each one cares deeply about all of our patients. |
